A tree planting scheme is underway across Bridgend County Borough.

Helping to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, called the Green Canopy initiative, the scheme is to plant 10,000 trees at five sites across Bridgend County Borough.

The five sites are:

  • Min Y Nant in Pencoed
  • Maes Y Felin in Wildmill
  • Foxfields in Brackla
  • Coytrahen Playing Fields
  • The fields behind Litchard Primary School
