Adorable ferret still searching for forever home after 402 days in animal rescue charity care
Little Nerio would make a fantastic furry companion, say Scottish SPCA
An adorable ferret has been in the care of an animal rescue charity for more than 400 days.
Female ferret Nerio is still searching for her forever home with an experienced owner after being in the care of the Scottish SPCA Ayrshire and South West Scotland Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre for 402 days.
Nerio would benefit from more handling. Food is the way to this cute gal's heart so a few treats should do the trick in getting her used to being handled more regularly.
A Scottish SPCA spokesperson said Nerio would "make a fantastic furry companion."
They added: "Ferrets are most happy when they are well socialised and she therefore may enjoy living with other ferrets after a successful introduction. Nerio will also need lots of time out of her cage in a safe space to exercise and play. This will ensure she is stimulated and keep her happy and healthy."
