AFC Croydon Athletic welcome Soccer AM star for comedy fundraiser
NHS staff will get free tickets for the show on January 11
AFC Croydon Athletic are hosting a comedy fundraising night live on Zoom next Thursday (February 11) to help boost their revenue streams while there's no football on.
The club, the most senior non-league side in the London Borough of Croydon, will host four comics which include Soccer AM star Lloyd Griffith topping the bill.
Tickets are priced at £8 per household, though to thank them for their service during the pandemic AFC Croydon Athletic are offering all NHS staff tickets for free.
Ticket holders will also be in with a chance of winning a keg of beer deliuvered to their house thanks to event sponsors Cronx - the popular independent micro-brewery based in Croydon.
The 18+ event starts at 8.30pm. Tickets can be purchased here or, if you're an NHS worker, email ‘happymondayscomedy@gmail.com’ to be added to the guest list.
