Ayrshire Hospice ball coins in thousands for charity
The funds will help the charity to continue to bring comfort, dignity, and compassion to those affected by life-limiting illness
The Ayrshire Hospice Summer Ball raised more than double the amount from the previous year- coining in an incredible £83,077 for the charity.
Held at the prestigious Trump Turnberry Hotel on June 17, the glamorous event saw guests dressed to the nines for a remarkable evening filled with dancing, fantastic cuisine and refreshments, and captivating entertainment.
The funds will go towards allowing the charity to continue to provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life care throughout Ayrshire and Arran, as well as bolster the development of the new Hospice building in Ayr.
Entertainment on the evening included the Maybole Pipe Band, Chris Hardie and fantastic dance performances from the Rennie Dance Academy, while local artist Elaine Johnston painted a masterpiece live during the auction. Finally, guests danced the night away to wonderful live music by Waterfront – the band.
