Best Christmas Window Display winners are announced

Depute Provost Mary Kilpatrick was part of the judging panel for the Ayr Town Centre Best Christmas Window Display.

The festive initiative was co-ordinated by the Fort, Seafield and Wallacetown Community Council, along with fellow judges from Ayr Guildry, Ayr Rotary Club and Ayr and Prestwick Lions Club.

The judging panel congratulate the winning firm on their Christmas window display 

The winner this year was L&T Décor, based in Dalblair Road and the runner-up was Olga’s Alterations, in Newmarket Street.

The runners-up were praised for their eye-catching festive display 

The judging panel was as follows: Denise Somerville, Chair of Fort, Seafield and Wallacetown Community Council; Bob Cherry, Chair of The Rotary Club of Ayr; Alec Mooney, Chair of Ayr and Prestwick Lions Club; Michael Hitchon, MBE, Treasurer of Ayr Guildry; and Depute Provost Mary Kilpatrick.
