The Barefoot Bandit, a band that combines reggae and new-wave, has announced their first-ever stadium show.

They will be playing at Ewood Park, Blackburn in Lancashire, which is home to Blackburn Rovers F.C.

The event is part of Summer Fest 2022 and will see the band perform alongside UB40, Soul II Soul and Maxi Priest.

The Barefoot Bandit will perform on Sunday, May 29.

The band, who are from Exmouth, has also started a fundraiser to help them finish their debut album, which was originally due to be released in 2020.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, live performances were stopped.

This meant the band were unable to earn the money to complete the album.

They have now turned to their fans to help them finish and release the album.

People can pre-order copies of the album or order a reward bundle (such as a print or band T-shirt), with all money going towards the completion.
