It is now an offence to possess items such as knuckledusters, throwing stars and zombie knives, following changes brought about by the Offensive Weapons Act 2019.

To help get weapons off the streets and prevent serious violence South Wales Police is running an anonymous offensive weapon surrender scheme.

Weapons can be dropped off anonymously until December, 20 at a special collection bin at the front desk of Bridgend Police Station.
