The headliner for this summer's Gallagher Park Live Festival has been announced.
Dodgy, who formed in 1990 and were one of the most popular Britpop bands, will be headlining the event in Bedlington, Northumberland.
They are best known for their hits Staying Out for the Summer, If You're Thinking of Me, and Good Enough which reached number four on the UK Singles Chart.
It is the fourth time in recent years that the festival has taken place at Gallagher Park and it is returning after a two-year break because of Covid.
The festival is a free event and takes place on Saturday, July 16 and promises to be fun for all the family.
The event is once again being funded by East Bedlington Parish Council with contributions from Choppington Parish Council, West Bedlington Town Council, and private donations.
Parish Clerk Ron Thornton said: "We’ve all missed live performances because of the pandemic.
"The Parish Council are delighted to relaunch Gallagher Park Live so that the people of Bedlington can enjoy a free, fun, family day out with entertainment for everyone."
