A local business woman has thanked residents for helping her to make her business successful.
Joanna Dewhurst opened Timeless Fragrance CO. - which is based in Burnley, Lancashire - during the Covid-19 pandemic.
She said: "I chose to base my shop here as I am local and wouldn’t have had the opportunity to open without the amazing support from the people of Burnley.
"They ultimately help to make the business what it is and give us the platform to grow on a weekly basis.
"We have some of the best customers who support us week in week out and the same goes for other local businesses.
"I've gained some fantastic friendships through this."
The business was initially launched as a distraction to the pandemic and Joanna's role in the NHS.
It soon grew after neighbours fell in love with the wax melt samples she created.
Timeless Fragrance items are now also stocked at Pendle Village Mill and The Range.
Joanna said: "I set out to create tattoo themed and scented candles, but wax melts were much faster to make and test and I gave them to some of my neighbours to try.
"They immediately wanted more, and I soon realised how big the demand was and that I could make this very successful.
"We now produce everything from wax melt snap bars, tea light jars, wax melt burners and carpet shakers to soap sponges, bath space dust and even room & linen sprays.
"We’re completely vegan friendly too and everything is handcrafted by us in our workshop to ensure the highest quality.
"Anyone who comes in can test over 150 scents before they buy so they can find precisely what they’re looking for."
Joanna hopes to expand the business both locally and worldwide.
She would also like to take part in more community events and continue to work in a sustainable way.
