Diversions and road closures are set to take place in Cardiff city centre this week, as Coldplay are coming to Cardiff for their Music of the Spheres World Tour.

Fans and bus users in Cardiff are being urged to plan their journeys ahead of time as Coldplay will be performing to thousands of fans at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on on Tuesday June 6 and Wednesday, June 7. Diversions and road closures are set to come into force from 4pm until the last bus.

Services running through Cardiff city centre will be affected, and cross city routes will be split. Gareth Stevens, commercial director at Cardiff Bus said: “Ahead of Coldplay’s world tour coming to Cardiff, we would like to make customers aware that in order to accommodate road closures and to ensure travel can continue without too much disruption, buses will divert and use alternative bus stops in the city centre. Our website and app have been updated to reflect these changes.
