Anglo-Welsh relations were soured in Theale, West Berkshire after Cardiff City supporters painted graffiti on a man's home.
Jez Scholfield was furious to find "CCFC" daubed in green paint on Tuesday, December 12, the day after Reading FC's' 2-2 draw against Cardiff City.
Mr Scholfield has penned a scathing letter to Cardiff City about the behaviour of their supporters as they stopped off in the village before heading down the M4 to the Mad Stad.
He writes: "This graffiti was what was left for me to wake up to on Tuesday morning after your supporters vandalised my property on Monday evening.
"They stopped in the village for drinks on their way to playing Reading that night, and they decided to leave this.

"They came on official coaches, as many fans of other clubs do throughout the season.
"However supporters of other clubs are able to enjoy the pubs in our village without vandalising neighbouring houses.
"I am absolutely disgusted by their behaviour, and from speaking to many, both in the village and the local area this week, the community is appalled by such mindless actions.
"I am sure those individuals responsible for this do not represent the values of your club, however it was undoubtedly your fans that did this and what makes if worse is that the culprits were on your OFFICIAL coaches!
"I would like to know what you intend to do to repair the damage, both to my property and to your club’s reputation in this part of the country."
getreading tried to contact Cardiff City on numerous occasions but did not received a response.
In the game, Royals blew a 2-0 lead as Neil Warnock's side took a point back over the Severn Bridge after a last minute equaliser.
