Various planning applications have been submitted to Sedgemoor District Council and Mendip District Council, with some decisions also made this week.

The list of received applications can be found below.

Planning applications received by Sedgemoor District Council last week include:

  • Application to determine if prior approval is required for the proposed change of use of agricultural building to one dwelling on land at former chapel/dairy, Rectory Hill, Chapel Allerton, Somerset.
  • Triple garage and store at Stone Wood, Bradley Cross Lane, Bradley Cross, Cheddar, Somerset.
  • Application to determine if prior approval is required for the proposed excavation of land to a maximum depth of 2m to create four wildlife ponds at Lillypool Farm, Shipham Hill, Shipham, Somerset.
  • Variation of Condition 2 of Planning Permission 50/17/00045 (Erection of a part two-storey part one-and-a-half storey extension and erection of a single-storey extension to north elevation, on site of existing (to be demolished), erection of a porch to north elevation and erection of a tiled canopy to south elevation) to amend the approved plans to allow for as built alterations to dormer windows, balconies, chimney, external materials and removal of canopy at Moor View Farm, Jacks Drove, Heath House, Wedmore, Somerset.

Planning applications decided by Sedgemoor District Council last week include:

  • Variation of Condition 2 of Planning Permission 17/18/00008 (Erection of first-floor extension to south elevation, construction of vehicle entry to rear of property and additional parking) to amend the approved plans to allow for the use of both the front and rear access for entry and exit at Wassells, Upper New Road, Cheddar. Granted permission.
  • Single-storey side extension at 15 Glovers Field, Shipham. Granted permission.
  • Tree works at Sparrow Hill Cottage, Sparrow Hill Way, Weare, Somerset. Granted permission.

Planning applications decided by Mendip District Council last week include:

  • To make alterations to improve the access, allow use of agricultural building to house livestock and extend the building and for the creation of a silage pit at land at Hill Farm, Wells Road, Rodney Stoke, Somerset. Approval with conditions.
