Various planning applications have been submitted to Sedgemoor District Council, with some decisions also made this week.

The list of received applications can be found below.

Planning applications received by Sedgemoor District Council last week include:

  • Tree works in a conservation area at 23 High Street, Axbridge, Somerset.
  • New wooden structure to house bikes and equipment for tenants of the first-floor apartment and formation of store for bins and recycling boxes. Shed to incorporate planters on the roof and to integrate the shed with a drinking water refill station as part of the “refill” app, bike pump and drop off point at Saxons, Station Road, Cheddar, Somerset.
  • Variation of Condition 2 of Planning Permission 50/19/00009 (First-floor extension above existing lean to) to amend the approved plans to allow for the first-floor extension to be increased by 0.9m internally at Brickyard Farm, Combe Lane, Wedmore, Somerset.

Planning applications decided by Sedgemoor District Council last week include:

  • Certificate of Lawfulness for the proposed single-storey extension to south elevation, on site of existing conservatory (to be demolished) at 2 Jubilee Road, Axbridge. Withdrawn.
  • Single-storey rear extension at 3 Annaly Road, Cheddar. Granted permission.
  • Detached garage at Roundstone, Barrows Road, Cheddar. Granted permission.
  • Replacing of existing upvc conservatory with single-storey rear extension (north-west) and associated external works at 23 Barrows Road, Cheddar. Granted permission.
  • New 1.8m high timber garden fence along part of southern boundary (in place of existing 1.2m high fence) at Sunnyside, The Causeway, Mark, Somerset. Granted permission.
  • Conversion and extension of existing garage to additional living accommodation (revised scheme) at Orwell House, The Square, Shipham, Somerset. Granted permission.
  • Outline planning permission, with some matters reserved, for self-build dwelling at The Hill, Mill Lane, Wedmore. Granted permission.
  • Non-Material Amendment to Planning Permission 50/18/00023 (Approval of the details of Appearance, Landscaping, Layout and Scale for 55 dwellings (24 affordable), garages, car parking, internal access roads, footpaths and circulation areas, public open space and associated infrastructure and engineering works) to alter external materials, levels, retaining walls, access, gate positions, gas meter positions and other minor alterations at Land south of The Lerburne, Wedmore. Granted permission.
