Various planning applications have been submitted to Sedgemoor District Council, with some decisions also made this week.

The list of received applications can be found below.

Planning applications received by Sedgemoor District Council last week include:

  • Single-storey front (north) and side (east) extension at 1 Houlgate Way, Axbridge, Somerset.
  • Application to determine if prior approval is required for a single-storey rear (south) extension extending 4.9m from the rear elevation, existing conservatory to be demolished, at 2 Jubilee Road, Axbridge.
  • Tree works at 15 High Street, Axbridge.
  • Certificate of Lawfulness for the existing use of agricultural land as part of the residential garden forming one planning unit at the property known as Westlea, Biddisham Lane, Biddisham, Somerset.
  • Single-storey rear (north- west) extension at 30 Littlewood Way, Cheddar, Somerset.
  • Approval of the details of appearance, landscaping, layout and scale, for a new dwelling and garage at Larches, The Causeway, Mark, Somerset.
  • Application to determine if prior approval is required for the proposed change of use of agricultural buildings to three dwellings and associated works at Totney Farm, Blackford Road, Mark.
  • Removal of conservatory and erection of a single-storey rear (west) extension at Potters Mews, Glanville Road, Wedmore, Somerset.

Planning applications decided by Sedgemoor District Council last week include:

  • Change of use of land to equestrian including formation of a menage and widening of vehicular access (retrospective application) at land to the north of Lower Notlake Drove, Clewer, Wedmore. Withdrawn.
  • Change of use of land and buildings (including internal and external alterations and formation of associated parking and landscaping) from equestrian to Use Class B1 a land to the west of The Poplars, Harp Road, Mark. Granted permission.
  • Variation of Conditions 1, 3 and 12 of Planning Permission 50/19/00128 (Variation of Condition 2 (Approved Plans) of Planning Permission 50/18/00057 ‘Erection of 16 dwellings, with access, landscaping, parking, public open space and associated works’ to allow for amendments to house types, layout, boundary treatments and changes to materials on plots 2, 4 and 14 and selected garages) to amend the approved plans to allow for an amendment to the pump station design and changes to Plot 8 (window colour), Plot 14 (window designs/position, side door design) Plot 16 (window changes) and garage door colours for Plots 14, 15 and 16 at land at Westholme Farm, Blackford Road, Wedmore. Granted permission.
  • Variation of Condition 2 of Planning Permission 50/17/00045 (Erection of a part two -storey part one-and-a-half storey extension and erection of a single-storey extension to north elevation, on site of existing (to be demolished), erection of a porch to north elevation and erection of a tiled canopy to south elevation) to amend the approved plans to allow for as built alterations to dormer windows, balconies, chimney, external materials and removal of canopy at Moor View Farm, Jacks Drove, Heath House, Wedmore. Granted permission.
  • Outline application with some matters reserved for two self-build dwellings with associated access and landscaping at land at Middle Stoughton, Stoughton Road, West Stoughton, Wedmore. Refuse planning permission.
  • Tree works in a conservation area at King Alfred Mews, Church Street, Wedmore. Granted permission.
