Planning applications received by Sedgemoor District Council this week include:

• New single-storey rear extension at 11 Orchard Road, Axbridge.
• Erection of a steel portal framed agricultural building at Stone Allerton Drove, Stone Allerton.
• New single-storey extension to the north elevation at Brecon, The Hayes, Cheddar.
• Installation of solar photo-voltaic panels to roof of single-storey dwelling at Ravenscroft, Barrows Road, Cheddar.
• New general purpose agricultural building at Yeo Bridge Farm, Turnpike Road, Lower Weare.
• Change of use from estate agent (Use Class A2) to cafe (Use Class A3), alterations and erection of single-storey extension to rear (south) elevation at Churchlands, Church Farm, Church Street, Mark.
• Application to determine if prior approval is required for a proposed change of use of agriultural buildings to form a dwelling, and associated operational development at South View Farm, Lane from The Old Byre to Long Hill, Crickham.
• Single-storey extension to rear (north west) elevation on site of existing garage (to be demolished) at Fircroft, Pilcorn Street, Wedmore.

Planning applications decided by Sedgemoor District Council this week include:

• Application to determine if prior approval is required for a proposed change of use of an agricultural building to a single dwelling and associated operational development at Moor View Farm, Ashton Drove, Ashton. Prior approval refused.
• Variation of Condition 3 of planning permission 17/16/00075 (Siting of two timber holiday lodges with parking area and internal access track) to use as holiday homes for periods longer than three months at Long Mead Country Escapes, Axbridge Road, Cheddar. Granted permission.
• Installation of solar photo-voltaic panels to roof of single-storey dwelling at Ravenscroft, Barrows Road, Cheddar. Withdrawn.
• Temporary permission for the siting of a static caravan for residential use during the construction phase of new dwelling at Little Ireland House, Little Ireland Road, Wedmore. Granted permission.
