From Cheshire with love: As the nation mourns losing the Queen last Thursday, InYourArea is collecting your lasting tributes to Her Majesty in our Book of Condolences.

  • Donna and Norman, of Cheshire East: Thank you for your years of dedication and service to our beloved county. An inspiration to us all. Rest in peace.
  • Dawn Sadlee, of Cheshire East: I have only known you – our leader, our kind Queen to look up to and admire. I am eternally grateful for you committing 70 years of your life to rule our country and that you did remarkably well. Your time has now come to R.I.P. Keep smiling.
  • Paul and Maureen Horton, of Cheshire West and Chester: Rest in peace, Your Majesty. You have loved and served our country for over 70 years and now you can be reunited with your beloved Philip. Sleep tight, beautiful lady.
  • Pamela Cull, of Cheshire East: To Queen Elizabeth, an amazing lady who touched many hearts in the world. Such a sad day – will be sadly missed by the whole world. God bless you xx.
  • Norma Minshull, of Cheshire East: No words can express our thanks for all that you have done for us. Your smile lit up the world, and we all have so many happy memories. Now, together with your beloved Philip, your work on earth is done.
