A night of comedy is coming to Runcorn to raise vital funds for Halton Haven.
The hospice has teamed up with the award-winning Giggle Shackle for the stand-up extravaganza with laughs served up courtesy of Tom Taylor who has toured as support for John Bishop and Jason Manford, breakthrough award-winner Tal Davies and "gag machine" El Baldinho, all compered by Giggle Shack promoter and comedian Colin Havey, whose promo poster catchline describes him as "being far too old to be in the Bank Chambers since 2007".
Halton Haven said the event is one of many lined up in its packed calendar for 2023, with the public to get involved and support its work.
Compere Colin said: "Join us for a great night of live comedy in aid of the fabulous Halton Haven Hospice as The Giggle Shack presents three of the best acts on the UK Comedy Circuit.
"The hilariously quirky Tom Taylor will open show with his mix of laugh out loud songs and expertly crafted jokes.
"In the middle is an exciting up and coming act, Tal Davies, who was voted Best Breakthrough Act at the 2021 Midlands Comedy Awards.
"Finally, the sublimely brilliant El Baldinho will close the show in style.
"He mixes magic, props and brilliant jokes with a superb, fast paced delivery, the laughs literally come one after another.”
Doors open 7pm for 8pm start on Friday, March 10, at the Halton Royal British Legion, Castle Road, Halton Village, Runcorn, Cheshire.
