Complaints of drug-dealing and violence lead to house closure order

A HOUSE that had become a magnet for drug-dealing and violence has been boarded up.

Police secured a closure order for the home on Ovenhouse Lane, Bollington, on Tuesday, January 26.

Activity associated with the address, which now stands empty, had become a problem for other residents.

Peaks and Plains Housing Trust helped get the closure order granted.

A spokesman for the Bollington neighbourhood police team said: "The order comes following multiple reports of anti-social behaviour, drug dealing and violence."
