Couple's date ruined after they were arrested

Police patrols on the tram line between Rochdale and Oldham have increased due to a rise in crime.

Officers in plain clothes spotted a couple on a date acting "suspiciously" on Saturday, January 30.

Police said: "Their date was ruined when we found out both had warrants for their arrest!"
