With a full league fixture scheduled and the top four all in action there was a chance for teams to make a strong claim on the top spots.

The ever-improving Mary Dendy produced the first and probably biggest shock of the day with a fine 2-1 win over current table toppers Sandbach Curshaws. Scoring for Mary Dendy was Harley Heaton with one in each half and for Sandbach Curshaws it was Fraser Keena.

The result could have seen Sandbach Town Ramblers take joint top spot but this time it was Mary Dendy 1982 with different ideas, the game finishing 3-3 Scoring for Sandbach Town Ramblers were Tim Lamb, Chris Proudlove and Lee Wakefield and for Mary Dendy 1982 there were 2 for Jonathan Kyd and a single for Jon MacClellen.

This meant third placed FC Bollington could pull back on the top two but suffered a similar fate to the top 2 losing out 2-0 to Sandbach Town. Sandbach Town scorers were Tom Edwards and Josh Boulton.

In the final game of the day, Crewe Wanderers faced local rivals Crewe Town and in true derby fashion the sides couldn’t be split with it finishing up 1-1.
