Across Essex there is a wealth of photographic talent and at the Brentwood Gazette and Essex Chronicle we want to support and encourage people who enjoy photography to get out, enjoy some fresh air and share pictures from across the county showcasing the best that Essex has to offer.

This weeks photos have been submitted by Ken James.

Most mornings, during a usual winter cold snap are quite crisp, with a ground covering of frost, and that's exactly what Ken's images from Danbury Country Park in Chelmsford, Essex have captured.

In a couple of Ken's images you can see the ground tinged with a white blanket of frost as he takes in the landscape with his selection of landscape images from the park.

Danbury Park itself was originally laid out in the 13th century as part of a private estate, it's used regularly by dog walkers and families looking for a fun day out, the park offers plenty of seating areas and picnic benches for taking a break from walking in its extensive grounds.
