A team of accountants in the northwest will be taking part in this year's Great Manchester Run.
They will be raising funds for NorthCare Chairty, who deliver care at health services across Bury, Oldham, Rochdale and Salford.
Andrew Southall, Stephen Booth and Fiona Haworth, the Northern Care Alliance (NCA) procurement team, aptly named the Data Dashers, were keen to boost donations for NorthCare having experienced first-hand how the charity supports NHS staff and their wellbeing.
Donations to NorthCare helps the NCA to deliver outstanding care at health services by funding innovative equipment, education, research and wellbeing activities.
Becky Swithenbank, Fundarising Officer at NorthCare Charity said: “We’re honoured that the Data Dashers from the NCA procurement team have decided to raise money for NorthCare, having witnessed the valuable work the charity does to help NHS services and staff in the northwest.
“Thanks to generous donations such as the above, we are able to continually support NHS staff to deliver the best care possible for over a million patients and their families every year in the Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, and Salford areas.
“We’d like to say a massive thank you to Andrew, Stephen and Fiona for choosing to raise money for NorthCare and wish them the best of luck in their 10k.
"2022 is going to be a great year for fundraising activity and we can’t wait to see how our charity progresses as a result.”
