BOS Musical Theatre Company received standing ovations on the opening night of Legally Blonde. It is a feel good story with catchy tunes, high on entertainment and energy.

The musical is based on the popular film starring Reese Witherspoon. Californian fashion major Elle Woods follows the love of her life, Warner, to Harvard to win him back and ends up assisting on a murder trial. It is on each night until Saturday 7th October.

Can Elle’s blend of legal smarts and sisterhood save the day? Will Warner see the error of his ways? The only way to find out is to bend and snap up your tickets now!

Next week we welcome Ghostlight Performers back to the bar performance area – I Did Something I Shouldn’t Have will be performed over three nights from 12th-14th October. It tells the story of 3 brothers, 2 lives and 1 confession.

Harrison has helped raised brothers Will and Sean with no help from their absent father. The two older brothers remember when he was around and prefer it this way. Sean, however, is naturally curious.

He enlists the help of a friend to track his dad down with devastating consequences – sometimes it is better not to know! Grab your tickets here now for this tense drama and learn the Parker family secrets.

Meanwhile at the SDC, rehearsals are in full swing for Home, I’m Darling. Laura Wade’s award winning play introduces us to Judy and Johnny.

IN FULL SWING: SDC are preparing for Home, I’m Darling

At first glance you would think this is a period piece set in the 1950s, but we are in the modern age. Judy has stayed at home in indulging her passion for the past since taking redundancy three years earlier – something her mother cannot understand as she lived it, and would not go back.

REHEARSING: SDC will be performing Home, I’m Darling which runs October 20-28

Their friends join in with the fifties flair for dinner parties and enjoy a dance, but return to the modern attire and appliances between social occasions. This promises to be a visually pleasing and thought provoking piece to continue our subscriber season and runs 20th-28th October.
