Cardiff charities, community centres, schools and care homes in need of a revamp are being invited to apply to take part in a new Dulux initiative.

Dulux Decorator Centre is marking its 125 year anniversary with its True Colours campaign which supports communities and organisations that have gone above and beyond during the Covid-19 crisis.

The decorating merchant is looking for 125 organisations and charities across the UK in need of paint and supplies to take part.

Whether it’s a community centre that’s home to a food bank, a school or a charitable organisation doing great work locally, Dulux Decorator Centre wants to hear about it.

The company is looking for community groups and organisations in need of a revamp to get in touch

John Henderson, managing director, said: “The community has always been at the heart of everything we do.

“And that’s never been more true than today, during these unprecedented times.

“Across our industry people have been showing their true colours in responding to the challenges of Covid-19 with countless acts of kindness.

“We have seen just what a difference a generous donation can make for a charity centre, local school or park - and we really want to play our part to bring even more colour to projects that are so valuable to people who are struggling at the moment.

“We’re grateful to be able to help in this small way in our anniversary year and I’d urge people to get in touch and nominate a local project.”
