The next in Ayr Music Club’s current ‘Music in Ayr’ series is a concert by Duo Arnicans.
They take centre stage on Saturday, February 18 at 7.30pm in Holy Trinity Church, Fullarton Street, in Ayr, South Ayrshire.
Duo Arnicans (pictured above) comprises Florian Arnicans, a cellist, whose roots are in Germany, and Arta Arnicane, a pianist, who was born in Latvia.
They found each other through music and now live together in Zurich.
A spokesperson for Ayr Music Club said: “Although the couple enjoy successful solo careers, they share an enthusiasm for chamber music, demonstrated in their ability to deliver an emotionally charged programme reflecting the personalitites of the two artists.
“The duo has performed in numerous concerts and recitals at home and abroad and their performance in Ayr is not to be missed!
“They plan to perform works by Paul Juon, Jänis Kepïtis and Felix Mendelssohn.”
If you would like to come along to the concert, tickets can be purchased at the door, costing £15 each.
There is no charge for children and students.
As usual, interval refreshments will be available.
