The hot weather in the UK has caused a spike in sales of fans as people look to keep cool as temperatures rise. Dyson bladeless fans are some of the most popular (but most expensive) on the market but a timely sale on a £500 fan and air purifier could bring the cost of owning one down during the late summer heatwave.
Currys has cut the price of a Dyson fan in time for the heatwave. The price of the Dyson Purifier Cool Auto React fan is reduced from £499 to £249 in a September sale that gives shoppers the chance to buy the device at a discount rate, HullLive reports.
The discount is one of the biggest savings we have ever seen on the Dyson fan, which claims to be able to cool up to 27m² of space. The hefty price tag is due to the fact Dyson's fan does not just cool a room, it also includes a 'Multi Air Purifier' that will purify that same air by pulling in pollutants, removing airborne allergens, in fact up to an impressive 99.95% of the particles that linger in your home.
