ALMOST SHOWTIME: Members of The Addams Family Musical cast

Here at the Little Theatre there are plays being cast, lights being cleaned and a smattering of summer socials. We hope you are all having a lovely summer so far despite the unpredictable weather.

One thing you can rely on is the quality of the next show we are bringing you in a little over two weeks. Opening on Wednesday 23rd August we have The Addams Family Musical performed by an impressive 27 members of our youth team.

We have not one, but two accomplished directors in the form of Deborah Bloom and Jonathan Plunkett. Both parts of this talented twosome have copious amounts of experience of teaching, directing and also performing. They have set an incredibly high standard and the cast have stepped up beautifully.

The musical direction is delivered by the awesome Adam Dutch and choreography is courtesy of youth theatre alumni and dancing dynasty delight, Chloe Morris.
The show is packed full of singing, dancing and carefully crafted characterisation; every member of the team from leads to ensemble has a specific role and there is so much to see.

The themes in the production of love, family, dealing with feelings, dealing with change, history and acceptance are universal and this show is not to be missed. It is performed from Wednesday 23rd – Saturday 25th August at 7:30pm. There is also a matinee on Saturday 25th at 2:30pm.

Our in-person box office re-opens on 14 August and you can book tickets online here or by searching for Southport Little Theatre Box Office. When the box office re-opens, you can also take advantage of our super subscriber offer where we invite you to join us for a whole season at a reduced rate.

You get 8 main season shows (including our famous family pantomime) for the price of 6 shows. Your night (or matinee now for the first Saturday!) and seats are the same throughout, but if you need to change them for any reason, just call the box office.

We do not mind who uses the tickets, once you have bought them so if you are away for a full run then you can allow someone else to use your tickets. It is a brilliant offer and with a varied season, there is something for everyone.
