Entertainment in store at care home with new activities co-ordinator
Charlotte Parton has taken on the role at Belong Macclesfield
A NEW activities organiser has been appointed at a care home - and hopes to keep residents entertained.
Charlotte Parton has taken on the role of experience co-ordinator at Belong Macclesfield, in Upton Priory.
She is a former performing arts student and hopes to performances, arts workshops and craft sessions.
Charlotte said: “I love using culture, the arts and heritage for the benefit of others
“It’s very exciting to be working with older people and those living with dementia and I’m looking forward to getting to know our customers and be able to provide activities that engage their passions.
Caroline Ray, general manager at Belong Macclesfield, Cheshire, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Charlotte to the team and are looking forward to seeing her working her creative talents.”
