A personal trainer in Farnborough, Hampshire has completed a 24-hour spin  to raise nearly £1,000 for a mental health charity.

Aaron Holt, 23, is a personal trainer at The Gym Farnborough and completed the challenge on Friday, January 28. He smashed his £500 fundraising target after donations came in at a total of £928.

The money will go to Mind, a mental health charity close to Aaron's heart because his mum Gail has experienced struggles with her own mental health.

Aaron said: "To complete the challenge and raise almost double our expected target is something that I am extremely proud of.

"The spin was the hardest challenge I have ever faced but the outcome definitely outweighed the difficulty of the challenge.
"I was proud to represent Mind and raise the amount I did because I know the money will have a big impact on the people who need it most."
