Regal Entertainments, known for their fantastic Christmas pantomime Aladdin, is back at St Helens Theatre Royal with the first of four pantomimes in 2024. This weekend, families are invited to enjoy a magical trip to the land of Oz and follow the adventures in The Wizard of Oz live on stage from Saturday, February 10 to Sunday, February 18, 2024.
The show promises fantastic performances, lively song and dance routines, amazing sets, beautiful costumes, and plenty of laughs. Produced and directed by Chantelle Nolan, with musical supervision by Callum Clarke and choreography by Nazene Langfield, this pantomime is based on the famous Oscar-winning MGM movie.

Join Dorothy and Toto on their journey to the Emerald City, meeting iconic characters like the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Lion along the way. Will the Wicked Witch manage to stop them, or will Glinda, the good witch, help them in their quest to meet the Wizard?
The Wizard of Oz has become a popular annual tradition at St Helens Theatre Royal. The talented cast includes St Helens regulars Maddie Hope Coelho as Dorothy, Michael Alan-Bailey as the Scarecrow, Lewis Canning as the Tin Man, Benjamin Keith as the Lion, Hayley Russell as Glinda, Abigail Middleton as the Wicked Witch, and Warren Donnelly as the Wizard.

Chantelle Nolan, manager of St Helens Theatre Royal, expressed excitement about bringing this beloved family show to the audience, calling St Helens the Panto capital of the North.
