Custom House booked their place in the final of the Josh Atkin League Cup with a thrilling 6-4 victory over Section B rivals Axis United.

Custom built up a 3-1 lead by half-time, thanks to a Jack McGovern hat-trick.

He added two more after the break, but then Axis pulled two goals back with Custom down to nine players with two in the sin bin, before grabbing a fourth with 30 minutes to go. However, Danny Hughes netted another for Custom to make sure of the win. The Axis marksmen were Jordan Fulton (2), Tom Lloyd and Trey Lattie.

In the last of the quarter finals Jackswood  ran out 2-0 winners against AC Innovent in the Whitby derby, and will now meet Dee Rangers in the semi final. Jack Pickering and Corey Beavan on the scoresheet for the winners.

In Concorde Trophies Section A Tarvin Rex finally got the better of FC Mitchell Construction, having lost the previous two meetings by the odd goal. This time, after going in goalless at half time, a second half double from Sam Croft gave Tarvin a well earned three points.

Dee Rangers move onto the same points as Custom House at the top of the C.D.Vale Brickwork Section B, but remain second due to an inferior goal difference. A Gary Wilson double and strikes from Sam Russell, Craig Rogers and Ben Sache kept Rangers firmly in the title hunt with a 5-3 win over AFC Tattenhall whose scorers were Nathan Rose (2) and Kyle Evans.

The two bottom teams in the AJL Management Section C met for the third time, and it was Madisons who took the points and opened up a six point gap over the young Great Sutton team with a 3-0 win. Tom Frost, Mark Wilson and Rob Stockton netting for Madisons.
