In the CWFL Link Up Blacon High Monday Night Division Chris Gear helped himself to four goals and Chris Barlow and Andy Field hit singles as Highfield Horses ran riot sinking Ship Argyle 6-2, Sam Rickett, and Sam Fisher netting
for Ship.

At Neston in the CWFL Link Up Neston High Monday Night Division Neston Nomads went top as they beat Parklands 5-1, Ollie Dutton hit a brace supplemented with singles from Harry Blair, Nathan Sharky and Jack Lloyd, Tom Perrin replying for Parklands. The Tigers defeated Sutton Rangers 2-1 with goals from Tom Sinkinson and Joel Hall with Nick Swift netting for Sutton.

At the CWFL Link Up EPSV Monday Night Division Champs League had a convincing win hitting Ellesmere Port Villa for three, with goals from Jon Gee, Graeme Davidson and Jack Lloyd. In a close encounter TRIC beat Hooton 3-2 after a double from Connor Howley and a single from Matt Hill, Hooton’s goals came from Nathan Rowe and Jack Greenlees.

In the CWFL Link Up Warrington Friday Night Division Forrest FC moved into second as they defeated Red Star Warrington 3-1 with goals from Ollie Fletcher, Joe Fletcher and Louis Jameson.

In the CWFL Queensferry Sports Premier Division Shaftsbury’s recent good form continued as they hit three without reply, Shafts goals coming from Tom Taafe, Liam Crawford, and new signing Dean Nunn as they defeated Upton Youth. Goals from Tom Turkington, Jordan Cunningham and Jake Galloway saw Helsby reserves beat Runcorn Sports 3-2 with Runcorn’s goals coming from Ben Wright and Billy Mcgee.

The only game in the CWFL Olympic Trophies Championship seen Christleton move up to second as they beat Chester Nomad’s fourth team 2-0 with goals from Mike Murray and a penalty from Dan Ward.

In the CWFL Tarvin Precision Vets Division 1 West Kirby vets moved up to third after a fine 4-0 victory away at Hartford Vets, West Kirby’s goals coming from Neil Atkinson, Paul Robinson, Dave Swaine and Chris Dawson.

In the CWFL Tarvin Precision Vets Division 4 A Victor Thurgill hattrick plus a Sam Horner double gave Eastham Vets a 5-2 victory over Sandbach, which now puts Eastham second, three points behind leaders Great Float Vets.

Hooton FC defeated West Cheshire league side Ashville reserves 2-1 in the Wirral Amateur Cup Semi-Final to progress to the final and will be looking to retain the cup for an impressive fourth year running, Hooton’s goals coming from Joel Whalley and Ben Smith.

Meanwhile high flying Unitor beat a strong Golbourne Sports team 5-3 in the Northern cup quarter final as a Leon Jones hat-trick plus goals from Leon Clarke and John Mearns sent Unitor into the Semi-Final, Lewis Clarke claiming the MOM with an impressive performance.

In the CDFA Challenge Cup Cestrian Alex went crashing out with a heavy 7-2 defeat at Blacon Youth whilst a Danny Evans hat-trick and a goal from Luke Charlton helped Upton JFC defeat Blacon Youth reserves 4-1, Ellis Dunning netting for Blacon Youth reserves. In the battle of the Nomads ,Chester Nomads 3rds lost 7-1 to their West Cheshire league first team.

In the CDFA Vets Cup two goals from Simon Mithchelson plus a Jonny Stubbs single saw Nags Head progress to the semi-final after beating Dee Rangers 3-2, Evans and Sirrett scoring for Dee Rangers. In another high scoring game, a John Platten hat-trick was supplemented with a brace from Tom Cairns and a single from Hamish McConachie as Chester Nomads 5th also progressed to the semi-final as they beat Frodsham Vets 6-3.

Ste Salisbury netting a double and a Ste Jackson strike for Frodsham Vets. Upton JFC Vets and Ashton Vets both received a walkover.
