Crewe Town faced Crewe Wanderers for the second week in a row but this time with home advantage.
Three first half goals, two from Ryan Tomkinson and one from Josh Cooke was enough to see the game through the final score 3-2 in favour of Crewe Town. The result sees them maintain pressure on the teams above them as league fixtures come to a close.
Mary Dendy 1982 caught FC Bollington in good form. The FC Bollington side made no mistakes in their pursuit of silverware with a convincing 5-0 win. Sandbach Town Ramblers, who’s formed had dipped in the last two weeks, were focused against the improving AFC Crewe outfit and ran out 4-2 winners thanks to two goals from Damien Slone and singles for Tom Butler and Tim Lamb.
The result sees them top the table after leapfrogging Sandbach Curshaws who had no game this week.
With limited games left to play the table is the tightest its been for a few years with the top four teams all with a shout of the title.
