Heswall won through to the Wirral DFA Senior Cup final for the second year in succession and have hopes of going one better this time around, after they pulled the mat from under MSC Express West Cheshire League Division One rivals, Mersey Royal.

Helsby were another side in goal hungry mood, Tom Waring (3), Lee Turkington, Dillon Westhead, Tom Hughes  and Reece Dwyer bagging the goals in a 7-1 win at South Sefton Borough who replied through Darren Byers.
