MSC Express West Cheshire League Division Two leaders, Marine U23's, maintained their seven point advantage at the top and preserved their unbeaten record, thanks to Saturday's 4-0 victory over Rainhill Town Res.
Three goal Kyle Campbell took the plaudits and a further effort from Joe Levey completed the scoring as the visitors recorded their seventeenth win of the season.
Nearest rivals, Litherland Remyca Res with goals from Josh Rice and Liam Morris pulled off a 2-1 result at Runcorn Sports, who hit back via Stephen Butler while third placed rivals, Helsby cranked up their promotion drive, after hat-tricks from Lee Turkington and Sam Bailey anchored their side to a 9-2 win over South Sefton Borough.
Jordan Costa, Connor Anderson and Reece Dwyer also made the score sheet, with Darren Byers obliging with both goals for the visitors.
Dan Abayomi, Harvey Till and Reza Gharooni shared the goals as Marshalls Res beat Poulton Vics 3-1 while South Liverpool Res ran riot against West Kirby, Louis Gorman(2), Mason Nevitt (2), Owen Hough (2), Josh Bridge and Bobby Murphy finding the net in an 8-0 rout.
Two well struck free kicks from Jack Ledsham gave Mallaby a 2-0 cushion against Cheshire Lines until a late sting in the tail merited the visitors a share of the spoils, courtesy of replies from Danny Mulvill and a dipping effort from Mark Barnes.
In Division One, only one fixture came under starters orders and that saw a Ben Coward double secure a 2-1 win for Chester Nomads against Newton, who had Jackson Ellis in reply.
A Shaun Weaver double was supplemented by further efforts from Mason Flavell and Tom McGill as unbeaten Division Three pacesetters, Sutton Ath overcame Mersey Harps 4-1 and that result gave the Division Two bound South Wirral side a 17 point lead at the top.
Conor Rosato bagged Harps's consolation. Despite a goal from Joe Collins, South Liverpool 3rds fell victim to a double from Runcorn Sports Res.' Paul Humphries, while Conor Egan plundered the game's only goal ,as Heswall Res savoured a win against local rivals, Neston Nomads.
Saturday's Youth Division action saw third placed Mossley Hill, thanks to doubles from Cai Jones, Michael Nguemale, a single from Matty Lawler and an own goal register a 6-2 win at basement outfit, Maghull - who replied through Jack Lemmeas.
