A former tattoo parlour in Brentwood, Essex, is set to be turned into a new pizza takeaway.
The former site of Kings Road Tattoo, on Kings Road in Brentwood, has been vacant since the tattoo parlour moved to a new location in Harold Hill earlier this year.
An application was submitted to Brentwood Borough Council by Ali Reza Naziri to change the use of the shop into a pizza takeaway.
In the design and access statement, submitted as part of the planning application, it said: “It is considered that the proposal would complement the function of the area.
“It will enhance the vitality and viability of this locality by providing appropriate re-use of the vacant unit.
“It will also provide a service and a source of local employment.”
The application, reference 21/00910/FUL, was approved by the council.
