Bracknell foster carers recognised in awards ceremony

Bracknell Forest Council’s foster carers attended a celebratory evening on Friday, February 9 at Easthampstead Park Conference Centre.

Foster carers were joined by the Deputy Mayor of the Borough of Bracknell Forest, Councillor, Mr Alvin Finch and staff from the fostering service to celebrate the work that foster carers do for children and young people in the borough.

Cllr Gareth Barnard, Executive Member for Children, Young People & Learning, said: "I would like to thank each and every one of you for the excellent work you do. I know that through the care and support you provide, at all hours of the day and night, that you make a real difference, and change for the better, the lives of the children you support.”

Following a meal, foster carers were presented with certificates and gifts for length of service ranging from one year to 28 years.
