Free town centre parking offer extended in Caerphilly borough

Free parking at several town centre car parks across Caerphilly County Borough has been extended until January 2023 to support members of the public and businesses.
Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Cabinet has agreed proposals to extend free car parking in its town centres, and when parking charges are reintroduced, the initial hourly cost will be reduced to 40p.
New ticketing machines will also be installed in council owned car parks, making it easier for visitors to pay for parking.
Cabinet members considered feedback from a consultation exercise, carried out with members of the public and businesses, before approving the recommendations.
