Elvis, a beautiful Florida king snake, is currently being cared for by the Scottish SPCA Ayrshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.
He is friendly and well handled, and will need a confident and knowledgeable owner to continue to socialise and handle him daily.
Scottish SPCA spokesperson said: “Any new exotic pet owner will need to do their research in the correct husbandry they require, including providing the correct sized and equipped set up.
“Elvis will make a great pet for someone who has knowledge of the care required for him.”
