READY TO GO: Cast of Agatha Christie’s “Black Coffee”

There was no mystery about what the hot ticket in town was last week as patrons flocked to our subscriber season opener, Agatha Christie’s “Black Coffee”. The tables were turned on the Belgian sleuth Hercule Poirot when the cast and crew faced a Q&A session in the bar after the matinee performance on Saturday.  

This will be a regular feature of our opening weekends. The play runs until Saturday, September 23 at 7:30pm each night and most of the cast and crew can still be found in the bar afterwards if you have any burning questions!

Next weekend sees the first visiting society of the season as BOS MTC present “Legally Blonde” from September 30 – October 7. This effervescent musical is based on the popular Reese Witherspoon movie of the same and will make you smile and put a spring in your step. Bend and snap up your tickets now!

DON'T MISS OUT: Agatha Christie’s “Black Coffee” runs until Saturday, September 23

The following week, Ghostlight Performers are resident in our bar space with the second play from Paul-James Green. His debut, “Grape Juice”, was performed in October 2021.  

“I Did Something I Shouldn’t Have…” tells the story of 3 brothers, 2 lives and 1 confession. The play is on October 12-14 at 7.30pm – tickets are now available online or calling Rosalie on 07986 489738.

Our subscriber season picks up again with Home, I’m Darling running from October 20 – October 28.  The matinee performance with Q&A afterwards will be on Saturday 21st October.

Laura Wade’s comedy opened in Theatr Clwyd in 2018 before transferring to London. It won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Comedy.

Following this, we have the Francis Durbridge thriller House Guest which will be performed from Friday 10th November – Saturday 18th November. The matinee and Q&A will be on Saturday 11th November, an easy day to remember.

Not too long after that we will be opening for our classic family pantomime (Oh yes, we will!). The Pied Piper, directed by John Coates, runs from December 22 until January 7.
