Get ready for a splash of excitement at Haymarket shopping centre on Thursday, May 30, from 11am to 3pm. Experience incredible fun at 'A Commotion in the Ocean' where you'll encounter a lively cast of sea-inspired characters and activities for the whole family.
Meet Cali, the larger-than-life octopus, and her trusty companion, Captain Barnacle, as they navigate through the deep blue sea. Keep an eye out for Lionel and Leona, the friendly lionfish on stilts, adding a splash of colour and whimsy to the event.
Steve, the frogman from The Mermaid Research Institute, will be on hand, alongside Annette the Mermaid, ready to share tales from the underwater world. And don't miss the captivating performance of 'Never a Gull Moment' by Loughborough-based street theatre company Feasible Ferret, sure to entertain audiences of all ages.
In addition to the exciting characters and performances, there will be plenty of activities to enjoy. Dive into a free seaside-themed craft workshop, where you can let your creativity flow and create your own ocean-inspired masterpiece.
