Chip pan blamed after casualty taken to hospital in Runcorn house fire
Firefighters treated one person for smoke inhalation at the scene before they were taken away in an ambulance

A casualty was taken to hospital after choking on smoke during a blaze at a house in Runcorn.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service (CFRS) said the patient received first aid from the crew at the scene before being conveyed away in an ambulance.
Two appliances, from Runcorn and Widnes, were called to Hemlock Close at 2.15am on Tuesday, February 22.
A chip pan is believed to be have been to blame for the fire.
A CFRS spokesperson said: "Firefighters, two wearing breathing apparatus, put out the fire using a hose reel jet.
"They then used a high pressure fan to clear smoke from the property.
"One person suffered some smoke inhalation and received first aid from the crew before being taken to hospital by the ambulance service."
