Hertingfordbury school celebrate 'excellent service' of catering team member as she retires

A school in Hertingfordbury has thanked a valued member of the catering team for her excellent service over 24 years.
Jackie Bonner celebrated her birthday and retirement on the same day after working at St Joseph’s In The Park School in Hertingfordbury as a highly valued member of the catering team for 24 years.
The children and staff were sad that she was leaving but sang Happy Birthday in full voice.
Roles reversed for the day and Jackie sat down to lunch in the dining room while the children served her lunch.
Headmaster Douglas Brown gave a thank you speech and the children presented Jackie with a gift, flowers, a 'Joseph' teddy bear and cards.
Everyone at the school wishes her well and is looking forward to her visiting and popping in for lunch from time to time.
