Witham MP Priti Patel recently visited the newly refurbished Angel Pub in Kelvedon village.
Management partners Laura Smith and Rogan Wickham were on hand to give a guided tour to show off the extensive improvements.

Get Set, Go! Brentwood care home enjoys a summer of sport

Residents at The Beeches in Brentwood have enjoyed an action-packed summer celebrating the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Competitors took part in penny plunking and an egg and spoon race which was made up of walking, wheelchair, scooter and even zimmer frame contestants.

Chelmsford cyclist completes 448-mile ride for charity

Takashi Ikeda, from Chelmsford, has completed an incredible challenge for the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity and raised £1,000 in the process.
The 30-year-old cycled solo for eight days from Chelmsford to Edinburgh, covering 448 miles.

Maldon mum-of-six all set to skydive for The Sick Children’s Trust

Tegan Scrivener, a mum-of-six from Purleigh, near Maldon, will be taking on a tandem skydive for The Sick Children's Trust.
The charity provided her and her family with a place to stay while her baby son Herbert was in hospital.
