Residents in Braintree have been planting trees and bulbs to help protect the natural environment that surrounds them.

Local groups and individuals have pledged to plant over 41,000 bulbs and trees by March 2022.

Chelmsford mum takes on half marathon to thank children's hospice for son's care

The mother of a seriously ill little boy is taking on the Southend Half Marathon for the hospice which cares for him.

Emma Moore, from Chelmsford, will be raising money for Little Havens Hospice.

A wellbeing therapy dog has been supporting students at Ormiston Park Academy in Aveley.

Buddy visits the academy twice a week to spend time with a group of students who benefit from the extra support for their wellbeing.
