The final of the WI County Darts League Shield was recently held with the Doddinghurst Diva's coming out on top.
This final secured the Diva's third consecutive win with the same team.

Chelmsford children's charity hosts Platinum Jubilee party

Around 70 children came together in the grounds of Kids Inspire to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee.
Along with a silent disco and a human fruit machine, the party was packed full of fun activities for the children to enjoy.

Billericay businessman awarded CBE for work in social care

Avnish Goyal from Billericay is "deeply humbled" to have been recognised by the Queen in her Platinum Jubilee Birthday Honours.
The chairman of Care England and care provider Hallmark Care Homes has received a CBE for his services to social care and philanthropy.

Wacky racers back on track as Billericay Soapbox Derby returns

Wacky racers braved the Billericay Soapbox Derby which triumphantly returned over the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee weekend.
Plans to stage the Soapbox Derby in 2020 and 2021 came to a halt due to the pandemic.

Chelmsford hospice races towards 40th birthday celebrations

Farleigh Hospice is marking its 40th birthday with a special race night at the Chelmsford City Racecourse.
Tickets for the race night on Tuesday, July 12 cost £65 per person which includes admission to the racecourse, a table reservation for the evening and a race card along with a welcome drink and two-course buffet dinner.
