Harwich woman won't let MS stand in her way as she raises money for charity

Gill Lewis and her dog Otis

Gill Lewis, from Harwich, live with mutiple sclerosis (MS) and is pledging to walk each day with her dog, taking part in the MS-UK's Big Purple Dog Walk.

An annual event, the Big Purple Dog Walk sees dogs don purple bandanas and complete walking challenges with their owners throughout March.

A Summer of Culture comes to Essex

Hutton mum shares her story for World Kidney Day

On Thursday, we recognised World Kidney Day with a personal story from Ann Houghton in Hutton.

During her early 20s, Ann was diagnosed with damaged kidneys. At the age of 51, her brother David stepped in to be a living kidney donor.

Colchester Vets4Pets after extensive repairs following a fire

Colchester's Vets4Pets practice has reopened following an accidental fire four weeks ago.

Thankfully, no pets or people were harmed, but the fire caused damage to both practice equipment and facilities.
