Here at the InYourArea Community News Team we love local and look to bring you as many news stories each week as we can.
This fortnightly round-up features a selection of some of the news stories from Hart District that we've told about your community that you may have missed between November 22 and December 5.

We start with the biggest news story from the past fortnight.
On November 26, the government unveiled a new tier system to come into effect from December 2, and we were on hand to let you know what tier your area had been placed in.
The tier 2 restrictions for Hart mean that people are able to mix again outdoors in groups of up to six, but are banned from meeting indoors with other households.
The news came as rates in Hart continued to fall.

Off the back of the above news, deputy leader for Hart District Council Cllr James Radley described the announcement that leisure centres could open in tier 2 as 'good news for Hart residents'.
Also speaking about the news, Luke Charlton of Everyone Active, who run Hart Leisure Centre in Fleet and Frogmore Leisure Centre in Yateley, Hampshire, said: “We’re very much looking forward to reopening our centres and welcoming back the local community.
“We would also like to thank Hart District Council for their support, which has proved invaluable during this challenging year.”

After years of waiting a local resident has been able to move into a specially adapted house to suit his medical needs.
Due to long term medical needs, Neil Wallace needed a home with significant adaptations which also offered enough space to accommodate his two full time carers.
Neil had been waiting on Hart’s Housing Register for several years, but with a lack of suitable options becoming available, Hart’s Housing Team launched a joint project with VIVID to secure a home which could be properly adapted.

Parking in all Hart District Council owned car parks will be free today (December 5) as the council encourages people to shop local.
Between the hours of 8am and midnight, those from the area, and those visiting the area, will not be charged to park in these car parks as the council supports Small Business Saturday.
