MP attends World Day of Prayer celebration in Hoddesdon

The MP for Broxbourne, Sir Charles Walker, attended a World Day of Prayer service in Hoddeson.

Judith Hyde said: "The service celebrated our diversity and the contribution made to our countries by the many groups and individuals who have made their home here."

Hertfordshire group standing up for climate change in Africa, India and Bangladesh

The Fairtrade group from the Parish of Broxbourne with Wormley held their annual Fairtrade Breakfast on March 12.

£80 of the profits will go towards Traidcraft Exchange's work helping communities in the global south fight climate change and an unfair trading system.

Waltham Abbey seven-year-old makes 'rare' donation to Little Princess Trust

Jessica James, 7, was inspired to grow her hair long so she could donate it to the Little Princess Trust during a school assembly she attended aged four.

After three years, Jessica was able to donate 31cm of hair to the wig-making charity.

Officers help make Radlett woman's milestone birthday a special one

Officers helped to make 100-year-old Doreen Beare’s big birthday extra special by visiting her to celebrate on March 23.

Sergeant Noel Buckley and PCSO Milan Boca went to see Doreen at her home in Radlett, where she has lived for more than 40 years.

Ware care home grants 91-year-old's wish to return to the pool

Colin Draper enjoyed being back in the pool

Colin Draper, 91, from Ware, delighted when his care home helped grant his wish to return to the swimming pool.

In his younger years, Colin had a huge love for swimming and played water polo for many years.
