Air ambulance to collect Ukraine donations in Hart and Rushmoor

More than two million Ukrainian refugees have left the country since the war started.
Items needed include nappies, baby wipes, Vaseline, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, bottled water, soap, shampoo, shower gel, bandages, plasters, toilet paper, sanitary towels and baby formula.

Charity Wheels Day show returns to Aldershot in April

The event is run by the Surrey Street Rodders and was first put on in 1974 at Blackbushe Airstrip.
This year, there will also be a funfair, trade and market stalls, food vendors and more.

Falklands War veteran asks Aldershot residents to nominate 'best of British' heroes

The Amplifon Awards For Brave Britons 2022 celebrate special achievements in the following categories: Act of Courage, Against All Odds, Charity Champion, Active Agers, Young Hero, Pet Hero, and Celebrity Hero.
The awards are held in memory of the founder of Amplifon Major Charles Holland who was decorated for his bravery behind enemy lines during the Second World War. He was awarded both the MBE and the Military Cross and received the Bronze Star from the United States.
